Vintage velvet ribbon fashioned of silk and cotton. This vintage ribbon is French, from the ribbon making capital of the world at the turn of the century, St. Etienne, France. The French are known to blend up to 12 dyes to create a single color, which is why ribbon today will never have this beautiful coloring. The stated color of this ribbon is Turquoise. The ribbon is a beautiful muted aqua. This vintage ribbon is old store stock still on the original roll. It is in excellent condition but does have a thin blue line through it a flaw from production most likely; still beautiful just the same.
