Beautiful vintage ribbon from France with the color name of Absinthe. Absinthe, as you may know was the green liqueur made from wormwood and was banned throughout Europe at the turn of the century! The color of it was a yellow green, much like this ribbon. This vintage ribbon was made in St. Etienne, France, the ribbon capital of the world at the turn of the century. The vintage ribbon is fashioned of cotton and silk and is a very high quality. The vintage ribbon is old store stock still on the original roll. Condition is excellent.
