Fabulous vintage ribbon from St. Etienne, France, the ribbon capital of the world at the turn of the century. This is velvet ribbon fashioned of a cotton and silk, old store stock still on the original roll. It is an amazing color of brown. It is so deep and dark, like a mahogany. It is said that the French used to blend up to 12 dyes to make a single color and in this batch of ribbon that I am working with, I can see what they mean. Such incredibly rich color!
Condition: Excellent no flaws. Ribbon is unused condition, pristine.
